On July 23, 2025, Yokohama City in Japan initiated a demonstration experiment of electric scooters. This experiment will be carried out on urban roads, aiming to explore the actual effectiveness of electric scooters in daily commuting and short-distance travel. The experimental vehicles have been carefully adjusted by a professional team and possess stable power output and reliable safety performance.

The local government hopes that through this demonstration experiment, it can gain an in-depth understanding of the role of electric scooters in alleviating urban traffic pressure and reducing carbon emissions, so as to provide an important basis for future urban transportation planning and the promotion of green travel, and help build a more livable urban environment.
