Xi’an, May 21-25, 2025 — The 19th China (Xi’an) International Silk Road Expo & China East-West Cooperation and Investment Trade Fair (referred to as the “Silk Road Expo”) grandly opened today at the Xi’an International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a representative of green technology focusing on the “dual-carbon” goals, Laineng Technology — one of the two automobile enterprises from Jiangsu Province — made a stunning appearance with its Tueneng T87S Pro solar-powered vehicle. Competing alongside industry leaders like Yadea, it became a highly watched highlight at the expo.

Jiangsu Automobile Enterprises Gather, Laineng Technology Breaks Through with Technology
This session of the Silk Road Expo has attracted over a thousand enterprises worldwide to participate. In the field of new energy transportation, only two automobile enterprises from Jiangsu Province were invited to attend the expo — apart from the national brand Yadea, Laineng Technology, as a representative of innovative technology, stood out with its differentiated route of “solar micro-mobility”. The Tueneng T87S Pro solar-powered vehicle on display at the venue, with its groundbreaking technological breakthroughs, has attracted the attention of leaders from the National People’s Congress, CCTV, and many exhibitors, who stopped to inquire about it.

At the expo site, staff members introduced the vehicle’s charging efficiency in low-light environments: even in the poorest Class III light zones, it can supplement a range of about 10 kilometers per day. “This means that for a daily commute of 5 kilometers, there is no need for external charging at all,” the person in charge explained. “For office workers, when parking at work, they just need to park in an open area, and sunlight will ‘extend the range’ for their next trip.”

During the expo, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee stopped by Laineng Technology’s booth and inquired in detail about the technical principles and commercialization progress. After learning that the products have achieved large-scale operations in overseas markets such as Japan, Spain, and France, as well as in domestic scenic spots, the leaders stated: “Laineng’s solar-powered vehicles are not only a technological product, but also a practical urban micro-mobility solution.”

Starting from the Silk Road Expo: Building a Global Green Mobility Ecosystem
As the world’s first enterprise to mass-produce solar-powered vehicles on a large scale, Laineng Technology’s participation in this expo is not only a technical display, but also a crucial step in its “globalization + scenario-based” strategy.
